COVID-19 Update, Temporary Closure through March 31st

Dear Love/Aerial family,

After much consideration and discussion with the Love/Aerial team, our parent gym (the International Gymnastics Centre), and other aerial programs in our area, we have decided to suspend all activities at Love/Aerial from today through at least March 31st in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. This has been the toughest decision, but it is the right one for us to make at this time. IGC will also be temporarily closing.

Our main priority has always been the health and safety of our students, but in these strange and unprecedented times, we must also think of our greater community. With the current COVID-19 situation that is unfolding, it has become increasingly clear that a temporary closure is the best course of action and the socially responsible thing to do.

We will continue to closely monitor the situation and will inform you of any updates to our schedule as soon as possible. During our closure, we will be working to clean the gym and sanitize all of our equipment so that when we do re-open, everything will be clean and ready for use. We are in discussion to create online offerings for conditioning, flexibility, and creative movement and will keep you informed as those plans develop. We are also happy to direct you to other online resources for at home exercises.

If you have a class pass or open gym pass with us, we will work with you to extend your passes to make up for our gym closure. We will be cancelling all of our currently scheduled classes, so any credits that you have used for those classes will be returned to your accounts/passes. If you have any questions or concerns, please E-MAIL us at loveaerialsacramento@gmail.com. Please be patient with our team as we work to respond to everyone in a timely manner.

We encourage all members of our community to employ best practices to stay well during this crisis— wash your hands thoroughly, practice social distancing, and stay home when you can. Everything that we do now is in the hope of slowing the spread of the virus to give our healthcare system a fighting chance in combatting the virus in the coming weeks.

In times of crisis, we look to our friends and family for support. Over the next few weeks, we will greatly miss the warmth of our community and seeing all of your smiling faces in person. Thank you for your patience, support, and understanding as we work through this.

You are all part of our Love/Aerial family and from the bottom of our hearts, thank you for being the most wonderful, caring, and passionate community. None of us would do this if we did not Love Aerial and if we did not love working with all of you.

Be kind to others and be kind to yourselves. Stay well and we’ll see you in the air soon!

Best wishes,

Love/Aerial Team
Lillian, Jess, Steph, and Victoria
